Bill Flewelling

Services for Mr. William Arthur “Bill” Flewelling, 77, of Allison, TX, will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Shelby Deathridge, officiating. Burial will follow in DeBolt Cemetery in Arnett, OK under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Flewelling passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in Amarillo, TX. Bill was born December 5, 1933 in Canadian, TX to the late William Flewelling and Lenore (Bruce) Flewelling. He was a 1952 graduate of Canadian High School. He then went on and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Bill worked for Lockheed Security in Fort Worth, TX for 20 plus years. He also helped as a volunteer at the homeless shelter in Fort Worth and was also a member of the Methodist Church in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Sue Flewelling and Ellen Lee Huff. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Boyd Huff of Allison, TX; four nephews, John Huff and wife Angie, Walker Huff, Clint Huff and wife Amy all of Allison, TX; Dan Huff and wife Candy of Beaver, OK; four great nephews, five great-nieces and three great-great-nephews.
