Rosary services for Mr. Adolfo “Raymond” Morquecho Jr., 65, of Lakeview, TX will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Schmitmeyer, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mr. Morquecho passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Amarillo, TX. Raymond was born April 16, 1946 in Fredericksburg, TX to Mr. Adolfo Morquecho Sr. and the late Mrs. Augustina (Chavez) Morquecho. He moved to Lakeview, TX in 1964 from Mason, TX. He married Esmeralda Serna on November 11, 1970 in Silverton, TX. Raymond worked as a Ginner in Lesley, TX for 27 years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis, TX. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Morquecho of Amarillo, TX; three sons, Anthony Morquecho of Stephenville, TX; Eddie Morquecho of Lakeview, TX; Bobby Morquecho of Amarillo, TX; five daughters, Marlene Morquecho of Childress, TX; Michelle Medrano of Amarillo, TX; Melissa Morquecho and Beatrice Morquecho both of Brady, TX; Melissa Barnes of Amarillo, TX; his father, Adolfo Morquecho Sr. of Lakeview, TX; one brother, Ruben Morquecho of Memphis, TX; Lidia Gonzalez of Lakeview, TX; Janie Narvaez, Linda Lopez, Mary DaLaCruz and Josie Garcia all of Memphis, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
