Memorial services for Sonee Chantelle Johnson, 37, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at the First Christian Church with Dr. Dean English, officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Sonee passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Sonee was born March 24, 1974 in Ulysses, KS to Linda Sue (Jones) and the late Mr. Donald Lee “Don” Johnson. She attended grammar schools in Lefors, TX and was a 1992 graduate of Canadian High School. She worked for the Canadian Independent School District and later went to work for Alexander’s Grocery & Deli. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Mason Moore of Canadian, TX; her daughter, Sierra Moore of Canadian, TX; her mother, Linda Johnson of Canadian, TX; her brother, Lance Johnson and wife Tracie of Canadian, TX; her nephews, Triston Johnson of Corpus Christi, TX; Jacob Meek of Canadian, TX and a host of aunts, uncles and extended family. The family suggests memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
