Services for Wayne Milburn, 59, of Cheyenne, OK will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Canadian, TX with Rev. John Milkeraitis, officiating and Leonard and Wilma Jackson, assisting. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Wayne passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK. Wayne was born February 11, 1952 in Lakin, KS to Mrs. Norma (Baker) Milburn and the late Mr. L.L. Milburn. He attended schools in Canadian, TX. He married Sandie Thomas on November 2, 1972 in Canadian, TX. They moved to Cheyenne, OK in 2000 from Canadian, TX. Wayne worked as a consultant in the oilfield. He was a member of the Canadian Masonic Lodge # 855. He attended Hope Ministries in Clinton, OK. He was preceded in death by his son, Rusty Milburn, his brother, Jackie Milburn, his father-in-law, Homer L. Thomas and his cousin, Menda Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Sandie Milburn of Cheyenne, OK; his son, Leland Milbrun and fiancé Amanda Thompson of Canadian, TX; his daughter, Tara Milburn Stallard and husband Gregg of Noble, Il; his mother, Norma Milburn of Canadian, TX; one brother, Paul Milburn of Canadian, TX; three sisters, Doreen Purcell and husband Don and Roxann Lovell and husband Kenneth all of Canadian, TX ; Vivian Cornelious and husband Richard of Perryton, TX; 10 grandchildren, Tanner Milburn, Taylor Milburn, Trinity Milburn, Talon Stallard, Grace Thompson, Kenzy Milburn, Kobie Milburn, Kaitlan Milburn, Kalie Milburn, Kelton Milburn, his mother-in-law, Georgia Thomas of Canadian, TX; his brother-in-laws, H.L. Thomas and wife Joyce of Point, TX; John Thomas and wife Donna of Brownwood, TX; Rocky Thomas and wife Belinda of Pampa, TX; his sister-in-law, Mary Milledge and husband Frank of Piedmont, OK.
