Graveside services for Mrs. Zona Faye Clark, 89, of El Paso, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX with Lucas Biggs, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Zona passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 in El Paso, TX. Zona was born April 17, 1922 in Quanah, TX to the late Mr. Roy Roberts and Mrs. Clara (McRae) Roberts. She was a graduate of Hollis High School. She married J.C. Clark on May 30, 1942 in Canadian, TX. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2005. They moved to Canadian, TX in 1950 from Wheeler, TX and then to El Paso, TX upon their retirement in 1984. Zona will be best remembered for her many years of owning and operating the Cat’s Paw. She always talked about “her kids”. She is survived by her son, James Clark and wife Penny of Amarillo, TX; her daughter, Barbara Barton and husband J.D. of Anthony, NM; her brother, Roy Roberts of San Diego, CA; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
