Memorial services for Cindy Huey Hanshaw, 54, of Canadian, TX will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at the River Church with Donald Hill, officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Cindy passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011. Cindy was born May 12, 1957 in Durand, MI to Mr. Dean Huey and Mrs. Ellen (Tyley) Huey. Cindy graduated in Corunna, MI. She also attended Christ For The Nations in Dallas, TX. Cindy worked for Sam’s Club in Dallas until retiring after 21 years. She moved to Canadian, TX in March of 2008 from Mesquite, TX. Cindy was a warehouse coordinator for Superior Fabrication Inc. She also attended The River Church. She is survived by her life partner, Sherye Talley of Canadian, TX; her parents, Dean and Ellen Huey of Palmetto, FL; her brother, Gary Huey and friend Jesse of Dallas, TX; her sisters, Diane Bolz and husband Mike of Sarasota, FL; Tammy Gunnels and friend John Gracyzk of Flint, MI; her nephews, Jeremy Gunnels, Jason Moore, Jeffery Gunnels, Brandon Moore, Jonathan Moore; her dogs, Bucky Dean and Chloe and several aunts and uncles; also her Texas sister, Brenda Hawkins and husband Rick of Mesquite, TX and their children Taylor and Lexi.
