Graveside services for Linden Laubhan, 72, of Ft. Cobb, OK will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 at Lipscomb Cemetery with Pastor Joe Albrecht, pastor of Highland United Methodist Church in Ft. Cobb, OK, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Laubhan died Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Ft. Cobb, OK. He was born on September 15, 1932 in Lipscomb, TX to the late Mr. Alex Laubhan and Mina Appel Laubhan. He was a graduate of Higgins High School and attended two years at Texas Wesley College in Ft. Worth, TX. He married Wilma Booth on June 7, 1952 at the First United Methodist Church in Higgins, TX. He moved to Ft. Cobb, OK in 1982 from Dumas, TX. Linden worked at Security Federal in Pampa, TX as an Accountant and also worked as a Comptroller at the Savings and Loan Bank in Dumas, TX. He was a volunteer fire fighter at Crow Roost fire department in Ft. Cobb, OK. Linden loved fishing and gardening and was also a member of Highland Methodist Church in Ft. Cobb, OK. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Laubhan of Ft. Cobb, OK; three sons, Jerry Laubhan and wife Jennie of Irving, TX; Rick Laubhan and wife Ida of Amarillo, TX; Carlton Laubhan and wife Brenda of Lewisville, TX; his step father and step mother, Clarence and Elma Lou Case of Lipscomb, TX; one brother, Gene Laubhan and wife Kenda of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Carol Cole and husband Charles of Canadian, TX; an aunt, Marie Schneider of Lipscomb, TX; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to Highland Methodist Church, P.O. Box 9, Ft. Cobb, OK 73038.
