Services for Janice Hewitt, 54, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Abundant Life Assembly of God with Rev. Justin Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Janice passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 in Canadian, TX. Janice was born August 25, 1957 in Amarillo, TX to the late Mr. Fay Chandler and Mrs. May (Corsey) Chandler. She attended schools in Sentinel, OK. She married Dan Hewitt on December 20, 2003 in Amarillo, TX. They moved to Canadian, TX in 2010 from Amarillo, TX. She worked as a Certified Medication Aid and later was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her brother Roger Dale Chandler. She is survived by her husband, Dan Hewitt of Canadian, TX; her son, Michael Rea of Canadian, TX; two brothers, Joe Chandler of Arkansas and David Lee Chandler of California; two grandchildren, Shadoe Rea and Chance Rea both of Fort Branch IN.
