Jeanine Johnson

Graveside Services for Jeanine Johnson, 97, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX, with Rev. Johnnie Snider officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Johnson passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2005 in Memphis, TX. She was born on February 13, 1908 in Lone Oak, TX to the late W.B. Crabb and Myrtle (Shortnacy) Crabb. She grew up in Lone Oak, and moved to Memphis, TX with her family after graduating from high school. She married Fredrick Cecil "Bill" Johnson on November 19, 1930 in Hollis, OK. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1990. Mrs. Johnson was an operator for GE Telephone Company for many years, and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Memphis, TX. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, three nephews and one niece. She is survived by four nieces and five nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 726, Memphis, TX 79245.
