Walter Killebrew Canadian: (Special) – Graveside services for Walter Killebrew, 90, of Canadian, TX will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Ben Mathers, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Killebrew died Friday, May 20, 2005 in Canadian, TX. He was born on September 7, 1914 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Jim Killebrew and Mrs. Caroline Hamilton Killebrew. He was a graduate of Canadian High School. He married Marie Houston on May 16, 1938 in the First United Methodist Church in Pampa, TX. He was a life long rancher in Roberts County and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Marie Killebrew of Canadian, TX; and many friends. The family suggest memorials be made to the Abraham Edward Memorial Home, 803 Birch, Canadian, TX; or to a favorite charity.
