Memorial service for Judy Screws, 69, of Canadian, TX will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Matt Cook, officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Judy passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 in Shattuck, OK. Judy was born October 14, 1942 in Electra, TX to the late Jake Brown and Mrs. Lennie (Barnett) Brown. She attended schools in Sunray, TX. She married Cecil Screws in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2001. Judy was a member of the Moose Lodge in Ardmore, OK and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Brown. She is survived by two sons, Scott Collier and wife Becky and Jeff Collier and wife Jeanette all of Canadian, TX; one daughter, Julie Ellingson of Higgins, TX; one sister, Elizabeth Reynolds of Sunray, TX; 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
