A Memorial Service for Ruth Arlene Henry, 79, of Clovis, NM will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 21st Street Church of Christ in Clovis, NM. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2012 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Canadian, TX with her grandson Jordan Aguilar, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Ruth passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Clovis, NM. Ruth was born September 15, 1933 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Claude and Oca (Golleher) Milom. She attended Canadian High School and graduated as Salutatorian from Eastern New Mexico University. She married Bill Henry on May 28, 1955 at the Canadian Church of Christ. She was a business partner at Henry and Ross Accounting in Artesia, NM. She became a financial advisor and broker with Value Monitoring in Menlo Park, CA. She retired in 2000 and moved to Clovis, NM in 2004. Ruth was a member of 21st Street Church of Christ and helped to start the Bread of Life Ministry 6 years ago and was a strong advocate for those in need. She is survived by her husband, Bill Henry of Clovis, NM; two daughters, Tracy Henry of Keller, TX and Melissa Aguilar of Clovis, NM; two grandchildren, Jordan Aguilar and Preslee Aguilar and her only sister, Louise Peterson of Gallup, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
