Services for Launa Randall, 79, of Tilden, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Timmons, officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Launa passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Three Rivers, TX. Launa was born December 11, 1933 in Pampa, TX to the late Mr. James Emler and Mrs. Gladys (Derryberry) Smith. She was a 1952 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Lester Randall on May 31, 1952 in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2006. They lived in Canadian, TX from 1972 until moving to Dumas in 2006. While living in Canadian she worked for the Edward Abraham Memorial Home and Ma Beasley’s Donut Shop. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church. In 2008 she moved to Tilden, TX from Dumas. She is survived by her son, John Randall and wife Kellie of Tilden, TX; her daughter, Debbie Smith and husband Jimmie of Dumas, TX; her sister, Pat Rogers and husband Ronnie of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Christi Newby and husband Donald; James Smith and wife Tiffany; Stacy Parish and husband James; Zachary Randall and five great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
