Services for Phyllis Ann Alexander, 53, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Donald Hill, officiating. Graveside services will at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2012 at Sunny Side Cemetery in Pleasant Plains, AR under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Phyllis passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 in Amarillo, TX. Phyllis was born July 2, 1959 in Bradford, AR to the late Mr. Warren Alexander and Mrs. Ruby (Finley) Alexander. She was a 1978 graduate of Bradford, AR. She moved to Canadian in June of 2002 from Arkansas. She was self employed and attended the River Ministries Church. She is survived by her partner and best friend, Russ Jones of Canadian, TX; two sons, Brandon Miller of Searcy, AR; David Miller of Canadian, TX; two daughters, Cynthia Garner of Columbus, OH; Jessica Williams of Travelers Rest, SC; two brothers, Jerry Alexander of Tacoma, WA; Michael Alexander of Vian, OK; four sisters, Alma Flippo of Salem, AR; Thelma Brinkley of Canadian, TX; Melba Davis of Salem, AR; Patsy Alexander of Salem, AR and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
