Rosary services for Mrs. Martha Lois “Marty” Clark, 75, of Memphis, Texas will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2007 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Juan C. Barragan, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Clark passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 in Amarillo, TX. Marty was born on September 7, 1932 in Galveston, TX to the late Mr. Gilbert William Uebersetzig and Mrs. Etta Ethel Wright Uebersetzig. She was a 1949 graduate of Ball High School. She married Robert Ernest Clark Jr., M.D. on April 26, 1952 in Houston, TX. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2005. They moved to Memphis, TX in 1954 from Dallas, TX. She was a member of Delphian Club, Preservation Foundation and Memphis Little Theater. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Diocese of Amarillo Pastoral Council. She was preceded in death by one son, Gilbert William Clark on February 22, 1989. She is survived by four sons, Robert Clark III, M.D. of Memphis, TX; David Clark of Jacksonville, TX; James Clark of Memphis, TX; Richard Clark of Spring Cypress, TX; one daughter, Martha Britton of Plano, TX; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 213 N 3rd St., Memphis, TX 79245, Memphis Preservation Foundation, P.O. Box 295, Memphis, TX 79245 or your Favorite Charity.
