Graveside services for Faye Adkins, 73, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Matthew McCurley, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Faye passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Canadian, TX. Faye was born May 8, 1939 in Gary, OK to the late Mr. Troy Moffitt and Mrs. Norma (Grey) Moffitt. She attended schools in Higgins, TX. She married Utah Adkins on October 8, 1958 in Arnett, OK. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Tony Adkins of Briscoe, TX; her daughter, Tonya Tarbet of Sayre, OK; her brother, L.D. Moffitt of Phoenix, AZ; her sister, Betty Gingrich of Moreland, OK; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
