Graveside services for Terry Forbau, 68, of Higgins, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Higgins Cemetery with Rev. Bob Bynum, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Terry passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Claude, TX. Terry was born October 22, 1944 in Higgins, TX to the late Mr. Eddie Forbau and Mrs. Lena (Karbs) Forbau. He was a 1962 graduate of Higgins High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. While serving in the military, Terry received 2 Bronze Star Medals. Terry was a lifelong resident of Higgins. He was a Rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church in Higgins. He is survived by two sons, Trampus Forbau of Shamrock, TX; Lacesir Forbau of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Darrel Forbau of Okeene, OK; Gordon Forbau of Darrouzett, TX; four sisters, Janice Townsend and husband James of Rush Springs, OK; LaDonna Morrow of Darrouzett, TX; JaNelle Sutton and husband Jerry of Elk City, OK; Edwadine Forbau of Springfield, Mo.
