James Orr

Graveside services for James Orr, 86, of Canadian, TX will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Mobeetie Cemetery with Gary Jahnel, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. James passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Canadian, TX. James was born December 18, 1926 in Globe, AZ to the late Mr. George L. Orr and Mrs. Lucille (Dobbins) Orr. He attended schools in Mobeetie, TX. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II. He has been a resident of Canadian since 1946. James worked for the City of Canadian and the City of Canadian Water Department. He was also a carpenter. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Medlin. He is survived by his sister; Juanita McCabe and husband Mike of Sun City West, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
