Leon Hays

Graveside services for Mr. Leon Hays, 75, of Memphis, TX will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Austin Ridley, officiating and Rev. Johnnie Snider, assisting. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mr. Hays passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 in Memphis, TX. Leon was born August 24, 1932 in Snyder, OK to the late Mr. Charley E. Hays and Mrs. Lela (Case) Hays. He attended schools in Childress, TX. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict. Leon worked as a ship yard worker. He moved to Memphis in 1997 from California. He was a member of Westside Fellowship. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by two sisters, Nancy Hays of Memphis, TX; Ann Warren and husband Dowell of Memphis, TX.
