Graveside service for May Bell Fish, 86, of Plano, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX with Rev. Matthew McCurley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Richardson, TX with Rev. Dan Brown officiating. May Bell passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Plano, TX. May Bell was born May 4, 1927 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Joe Franklin Fish and Mrs. Lettie May (Keahey) Fish. She was a 1945 graduate of Canadian High School. She then went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Bible Baptist Seminary from Arlington Baptist College. May Bell was a nanny to the McMordie girls for 50 plus years. While living in Canadian she was a member of Central Baptist Church and later became a member of Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Richardson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Richardson. She is survived by the McMordie sisters and their children; Anna Henry of Plano, TX and her son, Josh Henry of Jacksonville, FL; Joni McMordie of New Port Beach, CA and her son, John McIntyre of San Francisco, CA. The family suggests memorials to a charity of choice.
