Services for Dale Allen “Brodie” Millsap, 8, of Higgins, Texas, will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Higgins High School Auditorium with Rev. Nancy Moore, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, Texas. Brodie passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Haskell, Texas. Brodie was born May 7, 2000 in Shattuck, OK to Mr. Len Millsap and Mrs. Becky (Mitchell) Sarabia. Brodie had just completed the 1st grade. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Elizabeth Harris. He is survived by his father, Len Millsap and wife Alicia of Higgins, TX; his mother, Becky Sarabia and husband Joaquin of Protection, KS; two brothers, Travis Mitchell of Protection, KS; Gary Millsap of Higgins, TX; three sisters, Mya Sarabia of Protection, KS; Kathryn Millsap of Higgins, TX; Estfania Sarabia of Protection, KS; his grandparents, Keith and Mikki Millsap of Higgins, TX; his step-grandparents, Gary and Jennifer Smith of Higgins, TX and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, great uncles and many friends. The family suggests memorials to the Brodie Millsap scholarship fund in care of First National Bank of Canadian Higgins Branch, P.O. Box 190, Higgins, TX 79046.
