Graveside services for Leonard Price, 63, of Higgins, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX with Rev. Rick Timmons, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Leonard passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in Amarillo, TX. Leonard was born January 29, 1951 in Higgins, TX to the late Mr. Albert “Pete” Price Jr. and Mrs. Imogene (Fox) Price. He was a 1970 graduate of Canadian High School. He moved to Higgins in the late 1990’s from Glazier, TX. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Hardberger Smyley & Price and Hemphill County. He is survived by his son, Jerry Price and wife Mary of Mascoutah, Il; his daughter, Cody Miller of Mission, TX; two brothers, Loren Price and wife Carolyn of Glazier, TX; Ray Price of Glazier, TX; two sisters, Glenna Dotson of Wichita Falls, TX; Bonnie Watson of Glazier, TX; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
