Services for Steven “Bubba” Johnson, 57, of Memphis, TX will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Fairview Cemetery Chapel in Memphis, TX, with Dale Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, Texas. Mr. Johnson passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 in Amarillo, TX. Steven was born on April 16, 1951 in Memphis, TX to the late Mr. and Mrs. D.S. and Mary (Jones) Johnson, Jr. A lifetime resident of Memphis, he attended Clarendon College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, loved farming, his garden and his pets. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Hisey Baum; three sisters, Liz Lobban, Jana Monzingo, and Sydney Salinas; several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
