Services for Robin Marker Perkins, 52, of Higgins, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Arnett, OK with Jake Russell, officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins Cemetery in Higgins, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Robin passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Higgins, TX. Robin was born November 8, 1962 in Buffalo, OK to John Marker and Rosella (Collins) Ware. She was a 1981 graduate of Laverne High School in Laverne, OK. She married Robert Lee Perkins Jr. on November 8, 1996 in Higgins, TX. They moved to Higgins in 2006 from Oklahoma City, OK. She was co-owner of Perks in Higgins. Robin served as a past school board member for the Higgins Independent School District. Robin also helped with the Stephen Ministries for the First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Arnett, OK where she had served as a diaconate. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Perkins Jr. of Higgins, TX; her children, Misty Perkins of Perryton, TX; Breanne Holbrock of Canyon, TX; Adam Bresee of Cedar Lake, OK; Ashley Ruddell of Oklahoma City, OK; Amber Coykendall of Arnett, OK; Brittany Word of Lubbock, TX; Kyla Thompson of Amarillo, TX; her father, John Marker of Roston, OK; her mother and step-father, Rosella and Jack Ware of Okmulgee, OK; two brothers, John Allen Marker of Woodward, OK; Rock Marker of Pampa, TX; three sisters, Sheila Grisham of May, OK; Bobbi Mason of Woodward, OK; Sherry Morgan of Woodward, OK and 11 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 South 4th St., Canadian, TX 79014.
