Eddie Ray Morquecho, Jr.

Memphis, TX -- Rosary services for Eddie Ray Morquecho, Jr., age 14 of Memphis, Texas, will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2008 at Hughs Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Deacon John Nino, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis. Eddie passed away Friday, October 24, 2008. He was born on September 3, 1994 in Childress, TX to Eddie Ray and Margarita (Villanueva) Morquecho, Sr. He was a student at Memphis Middle School where he played basketball, football, tennis and ran track. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Pedro Villanueva, and two great-grandmothers, Augustina Morquecho and Luz Serna. He is survived by his parents, Eddie Ray and Margarita Morquecho, Sr.; two sisters, Zoie Morquecho and Monica Morquecho; grandparents, Adolfo Morquecho, Jr., Esmerelda Morquecho, and Martina Villanueva; great-grandparents, Adolfo Morquecho and Cipriano Serna; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
