Services for Taylon “Tay” Stafford, 16, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew McCurley, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Taylon passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. Taylon was born February 28, 1999 in Oklahoma City, OK to Mr. Lonnie Stafford and Mrs. Jamie (Bishop) Jernigan. He had just recently moved to Woodward from Canadian. While living in Canadian he attended the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cory Stafford on March 29, 2012 and his grandparents, Vernon Stafford and Oleta Straughan. He is survived by his father, Lonnie Stafford of Woodward, OK; his mother and step father, Jamie and Mickey Jernigan of Canadian, TX; his brother, Shane Stafford of Woodward, Ok; his sister, Breanne Stafford of Woodward, OK; his grandparents, James and Lou Bishop of Canadian, TX; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
