George Faus Buschman

Services for George Faus Buschman, 80, of Canadian, TX will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the River Ministries Church with Donald Hill, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. George passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 in Amarillo, TX. George was born May 27, 1935 in Spearman, TX to the late Mr. John Buschman and Mrs. Ella (Faus) Buschman. He attended schools in Spearman. He married Jessie Corinne (Cade) Buschman on Ocober 12, 1963 in Spearman. She preceded him in death on October 27, 1992. They moved to Canadian in 1970 from Spearman. George was a farmer and owned a nursery in Canadian. He also worked in the oilfield and was a member of the River Ministries Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Buschman and three sisters, Sarah Nealy, Grace and Nell Gift. He is survived by one son, John Buschman and wife Shirl of Canadian, TX; one daughter, Ruth Ward and husband Kelley of Canadian, TX; four grandchildren, Krystal Dickinson of Canadian, TX; Lisa Werner of Amarillo, TX; Kris Sanchez of Canadian, TX; Jacob Conrad of Amarillo, TX; 6 great-grandchildren and one brother, Benny Buschman and wife Leola of Stinnett, TX.
