Memorial service for Linda W. Anderson, 52, of Canadian, TX will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday , September 15, 2015 at the Texas Crown Performance Hall with Donald Hill, officiating and Rev. Danny Sanders, assisting; followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin in Brenham, TX with pastor Ken Weiss, officiating Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Linda passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 in Canadian, TX. Linda was born December 6, 1962 in Brenham, TX to Mr. Harold Weidner and Mrs. Ida Mae (Finke) Weidner. She was a 1981 graduate of Brenham High School. She then received her associates degree from Blinn College in 1983 and received her computer programming degree in 1986 from Texas A&M University. She married Donnie Anderson on August 29, 1998 in Brenham, TX. They moved to Canadian in 2013 from Pearland, TX. Linda worked as a computer programmer and a business analyst. She served as a state commissioner for ASA softball. She was a member of the New Life Lutheran Church in Pearland, TX and attended the First United Methodist Church in Canadian. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Gary Anderson and her brother-in-law, Jason Hauerland. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Anderson of Canadian, TX; her children, Gary and Hannah Anderson both of Canadian, TX; her parents, Harold and Ida Mae Weidner of Brenham, TX; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharron and Bob Goodwin of Canadian, TX; her sisters, Connie Warmke and husband Robert, Nancy Danesi and husband Johnny and Peggy Still and husband Kirk all of Brenham, TX; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Anderson of Fort Worth, TX; Matt Anderson and wife Shayna of Lindale, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, great-niece, great-nephew, cousins and close friends.
