Memorial services for Don Wright Jr., 76, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Daniel Downey, officiating. A private inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Don passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009 in Memphis, TX. He was born June 10, 1932 in Memphis, TX to the late Mr. Don Wright Sr. and Mrs. Lucile (Read) Wright. He was a 1949 graduate of Memphis High School. He also attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a designer for a furniture company in Denver, CO. He moved back to Memphis in 2008 from Billings, MT and was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Bruce Wright of Greenbrae, CA; two daughters, Nancy Myers of Fromberg, MT; Susan Gallagher of Cedar Park, TX; one sister, Katherine Reeves and husband Don of Wellington, TX.
