Graveside services for Jessie Barbee Wiley, 90 of Memphis, TX, will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Riddlesburger, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Wiley passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 in Childress, TX. She was born May 13, 1918 in Lakeview, TX to the late Mr. J.H. Barbee and Mrs. Ethel (Smith) Barbee. She graduated from Lakeview High School. She married J.W. Wiley in July of 1939 in Lakeview, TX. He preceded her in death in July of 1986. Jessie worked as a supervisor for May Company. She moved back to Memphis in 1985 from Santa Ana, CA. She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Wiley, two brothers, Junior and Jim Barbee, two sisters, Bettye Johnson and Becky Cummings. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Wiley and wife Roberta of Palm Desert, CA; Ben Wiley of Memphis, TX; one brother, Bobby Barbee and wife Dixie of Lakeview, TX; three sisters, Viola Robertson of Lubbock, TX; Irene Russey of Memphis, TX; Ellie Peeples of Amarillo, TX; two granddaughters, Trica Ponce of Mission Viejo, CA; Stacy Wiley of Lake Forest, CA and one great-grandson, Evan Ponce of Mission Viejo, CA.
