Rosary services for Juanita Macias, 87, of Canadian, TX will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Gerber, Officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mrs. Macias passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Canadian, TX. Juanita was born March 1, 1928 to the late Mr. Placido Parra and Mrs. Ygnacia (Miranda) Parra. She was a 1946 graduate of Canadian High School. She married Mack Macias on December 2, 1950 in Canadian, TX. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Juanita is survived by two sons, Stanley Macias and wife Cara Dawn of Canadian, TX; Christopher Macias of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Barbara Kaul and husband Mark of Dalhart, TX; Yolanda Capetillo of Amarillo, TX; two brothers, Salvador Parra of Lubbock, TX; Barney Parra of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Ramona Parra of Amarillo, TX; 8 grandchildren, Garrett Macias and wife Rebecca of Wiley, TX; Amber Davidson and husband Daniel of Colorado Springs, CO; Eric Macias and wife Lacy of Slaton, TX; Michael Kaul of Minneapolis, MN; Ian Macias and wife Leslie of Texas; Nancy Capetillo of San Antonio, TX; Jordan Kaul of Euless, TX; Travis Macias and wife Ashton of Canadian, TX; four great-grand grandchildren, Kylie Macias of Wiley, TX; Ella and Mack Macias both of Slaton, TX and Eli Davidson of Colorado Springs, CO.
