Patsy Ann "Pat" Lawson Minick

Patsy Ann “Pat” Lawson Minick, 78, of Canadian, died October 4, 2016 in Canadian. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Donald Hill, pastor of The River Ministries in Canadian, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mrs. Minick was born April 11, 1938 in Pampa, and was a 1956 graduate of Miami High School. She married Jim Minick on August 18, 1960 in Miami. He preceded her in death in 1998. Pat had been a resident of Canadian since 1968 and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She liked to sew and loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kami Michelle; and a grandson, B. J. Minick. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Minick of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Brad Minick of Yukon, Oklahoma; two daughters, Kristi Zenor of Canadian, and Nikki Wiggins of Miami; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Belva Greenhouse of Amarillo, and Rita Wilson of Canton, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 S. 4th Street, Canadian, Texas 79014.
