Larry Wayne Chaffin

Larry Wayne Chaffin, 63, of Canadian, died January 6, 2017 in Canadian. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel, with Donald Hill, pastor of The River Ministries, officiating. Mr. Chaffin was born February 4, 1953 in Canadian to Harold Howard and Wanda Beulah Andrews Chaffin. He was a graduate of Canadian High School and worked as a tool pusher for King Well Service. Larry was raised going to the Assembly of God, and had attended the Methodist Church and River Church. He enjoyed Facebook and gardening. Larry was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Chaffin, Jr. Survivors include three sons, Billy Joe Chaffin and wife Tamera Julian of Higgins, Bobby Chaffin and wife Tiffany of Shreveport, Louisiana, and David Chaffin of Canadian; three daughters, Cheri Chaffin and Norman Jeter of Pecos, Hannah Chaffin and Emily Chaffin, both of Pampa; seven grandchildren, Haley, Willa & Avery Chaffin, Julian Chaffin, Keira Presson, Bailee Chaffin & Leigha Jeter; two brothers, Jimmy Chaffin and wife Polly and L. D. “Smiley” Chaffin, all of Canadian; and three sisters, Carol Gutierrez and husband Joe, Charlene Segovia, and Donna Carter and husband Todd, all of Canadian.
