Memorial services for Mr. Dave Christenson, 52, of Higgins, TX will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will be in Gage, OK at a later time under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Christenson passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 in Higgins, TX. Dave was born September 27, 1956 in El Paso, TX to Mrs. Eileen Hanson Christenson and the late Mr. Harold Joyce Christenson. He attended schools in El Paso, TX. Dave moved to Higgins in 1999 from Shamrock, TX. He worked as a rancher for many years. He is preceded in death by one son, Jim’E Moore and one brother, Gary Christenson. He is survived by his daughter, Shanda Christenson of Gage, OK; his mother, Eileen Christenson of Park Rapids, MN; three sisters, Cathy Christenson of Alamogordo, NM; Janice Gilmore of Nevis, MN; DeeDee Raue of Park Rapids, MN; one granddaughter, Braylee Jones of Gage, OK; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
