Graveside services for Laura Grace Crawford Gardenhire, 92, of Memphis, TX, will be at 4:30 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Dale Sexton, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Gardenhire passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Memphis, TX. She was born November 8, 1917 in Woodbine, TX to the late Mr. Homer Crawford Sr. and Mrs. Lorena (Sullivan) Crawford. She graduated from Lakeview High School. She married Virgil Stuckey on January 23, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1987. She then married Garland Gardenhire on January 17, 1988. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1994. Grace worked for Phillips Petroleum in Borger, TX in the security department. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Memphis, TX. She is survived by three brothers, Sammy Crawford of Memphis, TX; Homer Crawford Jr. of Hot Springs, AR; Kenneth Crawford of Bissinger, Germany; one sister, Jonnie Medart of Rockwall, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
