Graveside services for Mrs. Marie Schneider, 91, of Lipscomb, TX, will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Lipscomb Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Thiessen, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Canadian, Texas. Mrs. Schneider passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 in Canadian, TX. Marie was born July 30, 1918 in Lipscomb County, TX to the late Mr. Clarence Case Sr. and Mrs. Martha (Hoeffliger) Case. She attended grammar schools at Lone Star Country School and Plum Creek Country School in Lipscomb County and was a graduate of Lipscomb High School. She was married to Ruben Schneider. He preceded her in death in March of 1985. Marie was a homemaker and a farmer. She was also a lifelong resident of Lipscomb County. She is survived by her brother, Clarence Case Jr. and wife Elma Lue of Lipscomb, TX; her niece, Carol Cole and husband Charles of Van Alstyne, TX; her nephew, Gene Laubhan and wife Kenda of Amarillo, TX and her late nephews wife, Wilma Laubhan of Amarillo, TX. The family suggests memorials to Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 South 4th St., Canadian, TX 79014 or the Edward Abraham Memorial Home, 803 Birch St., Canadian, TX 79014.
