Memorial services for Ernest B. Reynolds Jr., 84, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Canadian with Rev. Monte Kreis, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, MS. Services are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX and Boone-Wells Funeral Home of Greenville, MS. Mr. Reynolds passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 in Canadian, TX. He was born on May 14, 1922 in Greenville, MS to the late Mr. Ernest B. Reynolds Sr. and Mrs. Tennie Carter Reynolds. He was a graduate of Greenville High School. Ernest then went on to be a 1944 graduate of Texas A&M with a business degree. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He married Elizabeth Milligan on April 30, 1949 in Crenshaw, MS. He worked in the insurance business for Tenneco Insurance. They moved to Canadian, TX on October 2, 2003 from Houston, TX. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Allela Reynolds Pepper and Jane Reynolds Hadaway. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Reynolds of Canadian, TX; four nephews, Allen Hadaway and family, William S. Hadaway and family, Sam Pepper and John R. Pepper III, three nieces, Ann Hadaway Aldinger and family, Susan Hadaway Hanlon and family, Diane Pepper Gilliland and other family members Jane & Harry Westmoreland and family.
