C. E. Williams, 68, of Canadian, died July 25, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Church of Christ in Canadian, with Shawn Davis, his son-in-law, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.C. E. was born March 21, 1949 in Amarillo. He graduated from Canadian High School in 1967. C. E. married his best friend Pat Weldon on March 15, 1968. He owned and operated C. E. Williams Dirt Contracting and Construction. Survivors include his wife, Pat Weldon of the home; 4 daughters: Stephanie Melton and husband Rodney, Cindy Davis and husband Shawn, Amy Williams, and Nicole Layton and husband Ted; 7 Grandchildren, Kaylee Robey and husband Shane, Keegan Graham, Shayla Tyler and husband Benjamin, Shane Albin and husband Bo, Brody Davis, Kimber Faus and RJ Melton; 8 Great Grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Ronnie Williams and Sam Williams.
