Daisy "Dee" Ann Bank, 88, of Salina, Kansas, stepped into her heavenly home Friday, May 10th, 2024.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian, 203 S 3rd St, Canadian.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, May 17, 2024, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian with Monty Wheeler officiating. Local arrangements by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian. Kansas arrangements by Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas.
Daisy was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma on October 11, 1935, a daughter of Esther (Schultz) and Sam Krehbiel. She grew up in the Canadian area and has maintained lifelong friends from her schooldays. Daisy was a caregiver and volunteered with Hospice for many years. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Daisy was a gifted conversationalist and had a heart for hospitality; she loved welcoming you into her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Esther Krehbiel; two brothers, John Krehbiel and Jerry Krehbiel; and her husband, Sanford Bank.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Cook of Salina, Kansas and Barry Cook, both of Brookville, Kansas; sisters, Sammie Flowers of Gage, Oklahoma, Nancy Wheeler of Canadian, Virginia Hext of Canadian, Carolyn Immel of Amarillo; brother, Dell Krehbiel of Canadian; many nephews, nieces, and friends from Texas and Kansas.
