Eileen Louise Falke

Eileen Louise Falke, 95 of Canadian passed away gracefully on January 15, 2020 while being cared for at the loving hands of the Hemphill County Hospice and Hospital nursing staff.

The family will hold a memorial graveside at a later date.  Cremation arrangements by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Eileen Louise Falke was born April 3, 1924 in Cimarron, Kansas to Mabel and Roy Jenkins.  She was one of ten children.  Eileen married Nick Falke on December 26, 1950 in Garden City, Kansas. She has lived in Canadian since 1963.  Eileen worked as a cook for 40 years and enjoyed sewing and cooking.  She was a member of the 1^st Christian Church.  Eileen was very loved by her many friends at the Edward Abraham Nursing Home.  She will be remembered for her feisty personality as well as her gentleness, Eileen will be greatly missed.

Survivors include grandchildren; Crystal Dayne and husband Jack of Amarillo, Venus Fairchild and husband Bucky of Amarillo, Shane Billings of College Station, and Darrell Billings and wife Faith of Canadian; seven great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. 

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband Nick; and two sons, Darrell Billings Sr. and Dennis Billings.
