Gary "Bubba" Webb

Gary “Bubba” Webb, 71, of Canadian passed away on Monday July 16, 2018 in Canadian.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday July 20, 2018 at Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel with David Young officiating.  Burial will follow in Edith Ford Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Mr. Webb was born October 15, 1946 in Marlin, Texas to Jerrie and Gervin Webb.  Before moving to Canadian he lived in Bryan, Texas and worked as a grounds keeper for a nursery called “Geranium Junction”. Gary’s mother’s favorite actors were Gary Cooper and John Wayne that is how he was named.  He loved Elvis Presley, sports and especially the Dallas Cowboys.  Gary was raised in the Assembly of God Church, while living in Canadian he attended the Abundant Life Church and First United Methodist Church.  He was a kind loving man who never met a stranger. He was an avid Canadian Wildcat fan.

Survivors include five sisters, Mary Waterfield and husband Rick and Caroline Shaw all of Canadian, Sue Antrobus and husband Stan of Bryan, Faye Webb and Shirley Webb both of Liberty; brother, Donald Webb and wife Irene of Liberty; niece, Susan Collin and husband Cody of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
