George T. "Stretch" Williams

George T. “Stretch” Williams, 60 of Canadian passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK. 

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2023, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Donald Hill officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

George Thomas Williams was born February 1, 1962, to J.T. & Loetta Williams in Canadian.  “Stretch” was a loyal and avid Wildcat and Cowboys fan.  He worked in the oilfield and later did stucco work with his dad, J.T.  George married Kathy Ferris on October 15, 1986, in Canadian.  He loved music, fishing and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  

George was preceded in death by his dad, J.T. Williams; an uncle, Bill Williams; father-in-law, M.B. Ferris and brother-in-law, Danny Moman.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Williams of Canadian; mother, Loetta Williams of Canadian; brother, C.J. Williams of Canadian; mother-in-law, Clessie Ferris of Pampa; 2 brothers-in-law, Bruce Ferris and wife Ginger and Dale Ferris, all of Pampa; sister-in-law, Christine Moman of Pampa; 5 nephews; 1 niece and numerous adopted-in-love kids and grandkids.
