Marion G. Hill

Marion G. Hill, 92 of Amarillo passed away December 29, 2019 in Amarillo.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Washington Avenue Christian Church with Gary Jahnel, officiating.  Services under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Marion Gail Hill was born in Lipscomb to Tom and Lizzie Barton Hill.  As a boy he worked the farm with his brothers and parents.  Marion graduated from Canadian High School.  Following high school, he served his country with the United States Air Force.  Marion worked for Haliburton and as a Brakeman Conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Zoe of the home; a daughter, Cynthia Dragoo of San Antonio; a son, Kelly Hill and wife Teresa of McKinney; 2 brothers, J.T. Hill and wife Donna of Sonora, Tex Hill and wife Millie of Denison; 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Holli Goering; brother Warren Hill and wife Pat; and a granddaughter Molly Hill.
