Patsye Lou Francis, 84, of Canadian passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 in Canadian.

Due to current health conditions and regulations a graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 18, 2020 at Edith Ford Cemetery with the Francis family officiating. We encourage friends to attend the graveside and stay inside their vehicles, we will be able to broadcast the service over the radio. Our staff will deliver memorial folders and give instructions once you arrive at the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Patsye was born on April 19, 1936 in Boise City to Christine Dobbs Turner & Judge Elmer Turner.  She graduated Salutatorian from Boise City High School. Patsye married Curtis Francis on December 21, 1955, he preceded her in death on November 22, 2018. She was a professional seamstress, homemaker, avid golfer and loved traveling all over the western U.S. & Canada playing golf.  Patsye and Curtis spent many years square dancing.  Most of all she loved having her large family around her and was immensely proud of her 62 descendants.  Patsye was blessed to be loved and cared for by her Canadian Restaurant family and special breakfast friends.

Patsye was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Turner; grandsons, Wayne Francis, Chris Butler; and great grandson, C.J. Butler.

Survivors include one daughter; Nancy Pool and husband Keith of Clinton, OK; 3 sons; Jeff Francis and wife Diane of Denton, Scott Francis and wife Christy of Canadian, and Kip Francis and wife Sylvia of Poteau, OK;

13 grandchildren; Marcie Henry, Jeremy Francis and wife Meagan-Marie, Lance Francis and wife Courtney, Jason Pool and wife Laci, Tucker Pool and wife D’Lisa, Jake Pool and wife Jessica, Travis Francis and wife Tessa, Lesley Garvey and husband Chad, Jesse Butler and wife Tasha, Zach Butler and wife Nina, Jarry Francis and wife Gabriela, Alicia Branch and husband Tim and Vanessa Butler; 27  great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Vicki Turner of Boise City, OK; and brother-in-law Ed Francis and wife Del of Boise City, OK.
