Steve Holt, 50, of Canadian left this world on Monday, March 11, 2019 in Lubbock surrounded by his family and friends. 

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2019 at The River Ministries.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Steve was born May 30, 1968 in Chicago and was raised and loved by Lois Mackey and Harold Holt.  He worked over 30 years in the oilfield industry and his most recent job was at Seaboard Farms.  Steve had many hobbies which included cooking, jamming to music, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his friends and family.  He was a man of fashion in many ways.  Steve was a caring person and was loved by all.  He was  preceded in death by his mother, Lois Mackey and her husband Jim; father, Harold Holt; brother, Florian Holt; son, Chockey Thomas; and his best friend Kevin Bodkin.

Survivors include his nine grandchildren, Ally, George, Paige, Alexia, Brooklyn, Rayne, Jocelyn, Kadyn, and Dace; daughter, Terri Ansted and Chanse Maly of Enid, OK; three sons, Asa Holt of Elk City, OK, Rebel Holt, and Rowdy Holt and Miranda Fishback all of Enid, OK; his girlfriend, Katrina Adcock and her children April Sonnier and James Sonnier all of Canadian; Terri’s mother, Michelle Holt of Waka; Asa’s mother, Jodi Wright of Beaver, OK; Chockey’s mother, Cissy Mills of Perryton; Rebel and Rowdy’s mother, Cody Miller of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous other family members and friends.
