Steven Lee Haynes

Steven Lee Haynes, 69, of Plano TX, died September 9, 2021, in Canadian, TX.

Inurnment will be later in Lubbock.  Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Steve was born February 14,1952 to Robert Lee and Rosemary Cowan Haynes in Lubbock. He graduated from Howard Payne University.  Steve worked for EDS & Hewlett Packard from the age of 23 years until retirement. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Plano.  Steve was an avid bowler and active in the Mixed Nuts League.  He loved playing cards and games with family and friends.  Steve enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosemary; a sister, Ramona Kohlman and a brother, Dwight Haynes.

Survivors include cousins, Venita McPherson and husband Hank, Greg Haynes and wife Alicia, Charles Ross and wife Diane, Ann McCuistion, Stan Cowan, and Curtis Cowan; 1 nephew, Jacob Haynes; 2 nieces, Kelley Chambers and Chelsea James.
